The alarm is screaming, the room is freezing, and your ambition is currently buried under four layers of blankets. We’ve all been there. You need a reason to get out of bed that’s stronger than your desire to hit snooze for the fifth time.

That’s why we started Morning Wood Coffee.

A Family Affair (With a Side of Canadian Sarcasm)

Morning Wood Coffee isn’t some faceless corporation. We’re a father and son team who decided that life is too short for boring coffee—and way too short to take yourself seriously.

We built this brand at the kitchen table with two goals: Roast the best damn coffee you’ve ever tasted, and give you a reason to laugh before your first cup. It’s our way of passing down a legacy of hard work, grit, and the kind of humor that keeps you sane when the world gets heavy.

We knew we wanted to create a coffee company and wanted to stand out. Making the name was easy. Brainstorming names led to a comment from the old man mentioning that he starts his day with coffee. He asked what do I start with? 

The name Morning Wood Coffee was born!

The size doesn’t matter, but the quality certainly does.  We don’t do "gimmick beans." We roast premium, ethically sourced crops in small batches to make sure every cup stands tall. 

That way you can start your morning off right.
